the best use possible 请问充当定语的 possible 为什么放在名词的后面？

当以-able，-ible结尾的形容词充当名词定语时，如果该名词还受另一个最高级形容词或only修饰，则以-able，-ible结尾的形容词，既可以前置，也可以后置：

$\left\{ \begin{array}{ll}\text{the best possible accommodation}\\ \text{the best accommodation possible} \end{array} \right.$ 可能得到的最好的设备
$\left\{ \begin{array}{ll}\text{the hardest possible conditions}\\ \text{the hardest conditions possible} \end{array} \right.$ 可能的最艰难的条件
$\left\{\begin{array}{l} the best available doctor \\ the best doctor available \end{array}\right.$ 能找到的最好的医生

possible 之后跟动词不定式是正常的,但 possible 充当表语时,句子主语不能是表人的名词或代词,而必须是表物的名词或代词,或者是先行词 it:

But is such a thing possible? (Wells) 但是这样的事情是可能的吗?
Frost is possible in early summer. 初夏有可能下霜。
It is entirely possible for us to fulfil the task ahead of schedule. 我们完全有可能提前完成任务。
It is possible that they will be late. 他们可能会迟到。
It was impossible to hear what he said. (Wood) 没有可能听到他说了什么。

因此，上面的错句应改为：It is not possible for me to leave at once.

as 从句里为什么没有主语?

答

当从句的主语it指主句内容的时候，常常是可以省略的。不仅如此，当从句的谓语动词是be的某种形式的时候，谓语动词也可以与主语it一同省略(参见if necessary)：

I shall come to see you as often as possible. 我会尽可能常常来看你。

因此，上面的句子还可以写成：

... as far as it is possible (或... as far as possible)
