从结构上说, reject 不可以接双宾语, 故用在试题(2)中是错误的。从搭配上看, 作“拒绝接受”“驳回”解的 reject 的宾语常常是 proposal, plan, request, suggestion 等名词, 因而可以用在试题(1)中。而作“拒绝给予”解的 deny 大都跟双宾语, 故试题(2)应选 B。请对比下列实例:
