你之所以对上题感到糊涂,是因为你没有分清动词 fit 与形容词 fit 的用法。动词 fit 作“适合”解时可用作及物动词和不及物动词。用作及物动词时,其句型如下:1. fit sb./sth;2. fit sb./sth. for sth. 。fit for sb./sth 的用法是错误的:
This key doesn't fit the lock. 这把钥匙打不开这把锁。
The dress fitted her perfectly. 这件衣服她穿起来很合身。
fit 用作形容词,有时与 for 搭配使用:
This water isn't fit for drinking. 这水不适于喝。
Do you think she's fit for the job? 你认为她适合这个工作吗？

上面的句子是错误的,应将 to 改为介词 for。因为 be fit for 应跟名词,而 be fit to(to 为动词不定式符号)应跟动词原形,见 fit :
