nor I do

John is not stupid.”“Nor he is.

John is not stupid.”“

Nor is his brother.”“

Nor is his brother. 而在你所提问的句子 Nor he is. 见 so did I/so I did

I thought of him, nor did I forget you.

  1. He never went again, nor did he write to apologize.

  2. Dumbledore had never revealed that he had replaced the sword with a fake, nor had he so much as mentioned a friendship with Bathilda. (J. K. Rowling, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows)

  1. We have many enemies; nor can we be sure of all our friends. (AED)

  2. All the students were obviously very miserable. Nor were the teachers satisfied with the conditions at the school. (CGEL)

  3. This unique product carries a brand name that represents an entire country; nor is this an accident. [ = "and this is no accident" ] (CGEL)

Neither of us realized that night that these carvings and paintings dated back 15,000 years, nor that the headline in the newspaper would beThe find of the centuryChildren aged 13 and 11 discover cave paintings.

  1. He never went again, nor did he write to apologize.

  2. Dumbledore had never revealed that he had replaced the sword with a fake, nor had he so much as mentioned a friendship with Bathilda. (J. K. Rowling, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows)

  3. I have never been dishonest, nor do I intend to start being so now.

上句中的 nor 分句是个省略形式, 可还原为: nor did we realize that ...

  1. He wouldn't answer the reporters' questions, nor would he ____ for a photograph. A. summon B. highlight C. pose D. marshal(全国六级,02.1-55)

  2. He is not under arrest, ____ any restriction on him. A. or the police have placed B. or have the police placed C nor the police have placed D. nor have the police placed(全国英语专业四级,95-61)
