译文刚说完“她发现杜洛埃的伞和大衣不见了”，怎么又说：“什么都没有拿去”呢？显然，原译者是把部分否定看成是全部否定了。Everything had not been taken. 似应译为：“他并没有把所有的东西都拿走。”（参见 all...not）。
