1 -able(-ible)a.[F, L]=that can be~ed; able to be~ed

的)或able to be~ed(可被…

adjustable[adjust vt. 调节;-able→]a. able to be adjusted可调节的 / The lamp on my desk is adjustable.

exchangeable[exchange vt. 交换;-able→]a. that can be exchanged可交换的;可兑换的 / U.S. dollar is one of the exchangeable currencies in the world money market.

classifiable[classifi(←classify)v. 分类;-able→]a. that can be classified可分类的 / Not all the books are classifiable by subjects.

movable[mov(←move)vt. 移动;-able→]a. that can be moved; not fixed in one position可移动的;活动的 / My son wants some toy soldiers with movable arms and legs.

audible[aud=to hear听;-ible→]a. that can be heard听得见的 / She spoke in a low voice, but her quiet remarks were still audible.

credible[cred=to trust信任;-ible→]a. that can be trusted; trustworthy可信的;值得信任的 / That boy's excuse for being absent was hardly credible.

permissible[permiss=to permit允许;-ible→]a. that may be permitted可允许的 / Smoking is permissible only in this cabin.

perceptible[percept=to perceive察觉,看见,理解;-ible→]a. that can be perceived; observable; appreciable察觉得到的;看得出的;可领悟的 / The other ship was barely perceptible in the fog.

2 -age n.[F, L]=①the act or result of~ing ②a group of or a place for~s; the condition of~

breakage[break v. 打破;-age→]n. ①the act of breaking破损,损坏 / The breakage of the girder was due to a fault in the steel. ②the amount caused by breaking破损量 / The breakage of the goods is more than 5 percent.

18 -fy(-ify,-efy)v.[L]=to make~, to cause to be~; to become~

这时-fy的意思为to make~或to cause to be~(使成为…;使…
